Pregnancy Massage

Integrative pregnancy therapy is a technique that focuses on the energetic, botanical (essential oils), and traditional Chinese medical concepts and their relationships to the feminine.

Having naturally delivered three children herself, Kristina provides a safe, skilled massage treatment, utilizing the physiology and psychological changes that occur during and after the gestational period. Muscle therapy throughout the course of pregnancy can make the pressure of child bearing bearable, decrease overall stress, and prevent some adverse physiological conditions experienced during pregnancy.

Pregnancy massage can begin at conception, providing high risk is not involved.

Labor and delivery therapy is provided beginning at 38 weeks to assist in naturally helping effacement and dilation.

Post- Natal therapy can begin within days of delivery to assist the body in recovering from child birth.

Women:

Outside of pregnancy, women experience other forms of muscular tension and tissue damage.

-Severe menstral cramping

-painful intercourse

-bladder incontinence.

-breast augmentation encapsulation

Kristina specializes in working with pelvic floor damage, by releasing the soft tissue through the abdomen and offering specific exercises to help relieve much of the pain that goes unnoticed in women's health. If the pain or soft tissue needs further care, a referral to a women's health physical therapist may be recommended.

Many women enjoy the beauty benefits of breast augmentation or reduction. In some cases, encapsulation or scar adhesions can occur. By gently breaking down the tissue that "glues" the muscle to the implant, this form of therapy has saved numerous women from having to undergo further surgery to remove the soft tissue that entraps the implant.
